TOP PHOTO SPOTS IN KITSAP COUNTY

WHERE DID YOU TAKE THIS PHOTO?

I get asked this question so SO many times so I thought I’d help you (aka potential clients, photographers, friends) out-

There’s so many beautiful places in Kitsap County to shoot but I wanted to share a few of my personal and client favorites. I hope these locations help you to draw inspiration for your outfits and give you an idea of what you’re looking for when it comes to photos. Please keep in mind that these photos I’m sharing along with the location are taken throughout the year and shows you different seasons and lighting. Now let’s get to it!

Clear Creek Trails, Silverdale

Clear Creek trails is 3.8 miles and flat for the most part. This trail has different entrance points and the more you walk into it, the more things you’ll discover. This trail does get quite busy so you’ll find yourself stepping aside for others, but no biggie. This location is great for families, photos with pets (must be leashed), couples, and honestly, all types of photography. You can find out more information on this trail here.

Faye Bainbridge Park, Bainbridge Island

Faye Bainbridge Park is a beautiful “beachy” location and if you look real close across the water on a clear day, you might spot a little Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainier! And after the shoot, you should totally check out Bainbridge Island! They have the cutest shops and yummy restaurants- but we’ll save that for another day or blog. Read more about Faye Bainbridge here.

Kitsap Memorial Park, Poulsbo

This park has the most beautiful tall trees I’ve ever seen! And I’m not even going to try and guess what type of trees they are, but just know they’ll look amazing in photos and are so majestic! Searching for a spot to hold your ceremony and reception? Kitsap Memorial Park is perfect- they have a Log Hall that you can rent. You can find out more information here.

Manchester State Park, Port Orchard

I recommend this location when we “might” have a rainy day because we still have beautiful outdoor space AND we have a covered area for when it does rain. And let’s be honest, everyone loves a brick building and those archways are dreamy. Read more about Manchester Park here.

Point No Point Lighthouse & Park, Hansville

This has to be my most popular location and you can see why! You get nice, soft sand and the most picturesque bluffs. It is a further drive out from Silverdale but so worth it. Some of my best images are at this location! Find out more information here.

Scenic Beach State Park, Seabeck

Next to Point No Point Lighthouse, Scenic Beach is my next popular location! This one is a further drive out as well, but not too bad! This park has a little bit of everything and great views (on a clear day). Read all about it here.

…and there you have it!

I hope that helped you a bit and gave you different locations to choose from. Which one was your fave? I’d love to hear all about it.
